i want to program the parallel port pins to control the electronic / electrical devices. the pins 2-9 i know can be programmed.

as at now i can access a remote machine through datagram,my main problem is to interface the appliances with the parallel port.with one machine as the client and other machine as the server. the appliances should be attached to the client and their should be feedback whether the machines r communicating.
