Is it possible to install two IDE like say Netbean and Eclipse on same system without the two disturbing each other?

Yes. I have that right now (Eclipse with Java 7 and Netbeans with Java 8 preview)

hmm, 2 versions of IntelliJ, 2 of Eclipse, Netbeans, and Visual Studio currently installed side by side :)
