I've just started working with Perl. When I try and run a check or anything on a script at the MSDOS prompt, it tells me " 'perl' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

The CGI files show the right icon beside them, signifying that they are associated w/ Perl. Don't know what to do here.

Thanks,
kahaj

I typed that in @ the DOS prompt and was curtly told "Can't open perl script "script.pl": No such file or directory". Perhaps I have a bad install & need to retry it?

replace script.pl with the name of your perl script.

I did & it still didn't like it. I've redownloaded it, reinstalled it, & now it's running fine.

Thanks!
