Hi everyone,
I have been assigned a project where I must design a information extraction system for computer science conferences.
This system must use java as its programming language.
It must have a page where you can enter a keyword for example 'computer science'
and the extraction system must search the web and return conferences bearing that title.
the results it returns must be:
The URL of the page
The title of the conference
Important dates of the conference

My java skills are not very good, that is why I was wondering if anyone here could help me out.

First, you better start with research.
Secondly, I do not know a person here who has experience in search engines and if there is any I do not think that person will gave code just like that. However it may answer well asked questions...
