Hello,

Both Monster.com and HotJobs.com allow a user to upload an MS Word doc (resume) that their site converts to HTML automatically. The user doesn't have to do any conversion work themselves. I've found several scripts that will convert an MS Word file to plain text, but wasn't able to find any existing scripts that convert an uploaded Word file to HTML. Does anyone know how Monster and HotJobs accomplish this conversion? Better yet, does anyone have ideas on how I can approach this with PHP/MySQL?

Update:

I found a PHP script that is suppose to convert word docs to HTML automatically with the help of free program called "wvWare".

wvWare is located here: http://wvware.sourceforge.net/

I'll be looking into this approach to see if it works!
