I did all the process as specified in
[TEX]http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Ajax.In+Place+Collection+Editor[/TEX]

But when i select a value from the combo .... it hangs at "saving..."
there is no return .. .

i did tried with just putting echoing the value with validity checking
even thought there is no return

i m using

i got it:

i dont know how to initialize .In Place Collection Editor in v1.6.4,

but the same functions are ok or v1.8 and 1.6.1
