Hey,

I'm currently working on an ASP.net page using C#. I am looking forward to embedding videos in my .aspx pages using silverlight, but am totally illiterate towards Silverlight. Can anyone tell me how it would be possible for me to play videos using Silverlight?

Also, the other possibility that i'm looking at is using Flash. But I want to use something that is newer, flash being old tech ;-)

Open to suggestion,

You should read about silverlight. Do you know any ony other way to embed video without silverlight or flash?

Dear you can check out the FFmpeg Player ,a open source software
add it in your project.it will first Convert your avi into flv and then play on the flv player.
Google with ffmpeg download.
