i was not ready for the change between Windows Server 2003 -IIS 6.0 & Windows server 2008 - IIS 7.0-5.
i usually (on 03') export the website & app pools and save the configuration to a file. then if we add a new server to the farm, i go to IIs, click Add New - Website(from file). now in IIS 7.5 - i cant see where or how to do this. someone suggested using msdepoly - but i can't make that work - or i simply need a really good walk thru. is anyone using Windows Server 2008 and building sites thru a config file from IIS 6.0? if so, any help would greatly be appreciated. thanks again
