Hi, there are many websites which allow you to create your own running route on google maps. Does anyone know how this is done? i cant find any information anywhere, tutorials and open source code.

i am hoping to implement something like this into my website, weather its having to build it or simply embed it similer to embedding a map from google. I have no idea where to start and any help will be appriciated.

You can use Google maps API (javascript library). Though, you need to register your IP with Google before you can use it. Go to http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html if you have not sign up yet. The page also have links for you to look for how to use it.
