Hey guyz, I am here again with a PHP issue...
I need to upload an image and create a thumbnail for the same. Yeah it's so simple. But the difficult part is that the user will create the thumbnail (not crop) by his own choice.
Please help.

Explain better please, you have to create a tool? Are you going to use GD, Imagick or something else?

Can you act least show the code. So it will be easier to answer without guessing

@cereal and LastMitch.....let me try again to explain the issue...there will be two thumbnails......one will be cretaed automatically and other one will be created on user selection (user will select a particular portion of an image to create a thumbnail of the uploaded image)....I have attached one pictorial detail...kindly refer to the same

You need a (partial) Javascript solution.
