I have a Vietnam history website "swiftboats.net" that consists mainly of lists of names contained on multiple pages ... is there a search script available that can scan all of these pages and return a listing of all matches, as links, that will take someone right to each item as a highlighted result? This would make my users work in finding a name so much easier.

If your pages are indexed by Google, you can use their custom search.

I have looked at their search program, it gives the matches but only takes you to the page of the match, not the actual match on the page. You have to do your search again (Ctrl+F) in order to actually get to the match, a real pain if there are multiple matches on the same page.

Depending on whether your pages are generated by a scripting engine, you can add that yourself.
