I downloaded easy php to run php file but it is still not working. I am confused.

more information is needed.

EasyPHP from what i remember uses "127.0.0.1" not "localhost"

You'll need to supply more info than that. You running from a memory stick? Where is the php file located? What's the code inside the file? Is it supposed to do anything, like echo to screen, etc?
