Greetings!

I installed Xampp as guided by http://sixrevisions.com/tutorials/web-development-tutorials/using-xampp-for-local-wordpress-theme-development. However, it gets pretty frustrating when I reach step 29 i.e running the wordpress install script. When I type: http://localhost/wpdb/wp-admin/install.php, it gives me the following error(no improvement on changing the browser even):

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

When i type http://localhost/xampp/, it shows me the usual xampp panel which shows that there isnt any problem in installation probably. I checked my folders again and again and searched on google as well, I unzipped the wordpress to the right folder i.e htdocs, but when it comes to wp-admin, it gives me the error stated above. Needy of help.

Maybe the file path is incorrect.

what's the name of the wordpress folder in your localhost?
