Hello. I'm a newby in web development and I wanted to know if you guys knew any good books our websites to go to to learn Jquery for my new website. I've only used some css and a little bit of javascript but I wanted something better. I don't think there's a Jquery forum but yet again i'm kinda a newby sooo thanks for any input!!!!

If you want a brief intro, you can take a look at w3schools. The only reason why I would recommend it is that it's very brief and easy to go through the simple examples. You can go through their section in a day. It's not a good site for in-depth documentation.

From there I'd use jQuery.com for all my needs/documentation related to jQuery.

As far as books, I like books from Apress.
