I am tryiing to create a polling. How to create the database for it?

After certain period of time, I should be able to create a pie chart from the poll. What else do I need to create a good poll?
Dear friend first understand what databases are about. You don't need to read the theory to write tests just to understand the basics of it. Then ask your self about the data structure. Don't think it of something that has to do with Internet or computers , think it of something that you should write down in papers. Is there one poll or many polls? If there is many you should have a large paper to write it down / sheet / table for polls. What are the properties of each poll ?
