ok. my freind(not any more) got water on his laptop. (toshiba statellite, its 12inch and is gold(plastic) it has core m3) i by mistake spilled water on it. he now has a keyboard that doesnt work- is there a way to fix this without the need for a crap load of money? i dunno about the warranty though

I believe I got a trojan virus that has caused some damage to my computer which will no longer connect to the internet. I read several threads on here and these are the steps I have already taken: 1)I downloaded and ran Marlwarebytes and AVG. (I think it found the virus and removed it) 2)I downloaded HiJackThis and saved it to a new folder C:\hijackthis and ran a scan and saved the following log. 3)I reviewed my temp files and I don't think there is anything in them that I need to save. Very recently, I let my laptop (HP) battery get too low, and it died on me. Usually, upon plugging in the adaptor, everything starts right back up again. However, this time, the laptop runs, but all I can see is a black screen. I can even hear the little chime when windows starts (vista), but all I can see is black. I don't think it's a backlight issue, as I the black screen still emits a sort of "glow". I know I need a new battery, but as long as it's plugged into the power supply, shouldn't it work fine? …

On holiday, I foolishly forgot that my Iphone 4 was in my pocket and went swimming with it in the hotel pool. I was in the water for about 30 minutes before I realised. When I realised, I left it to dry (it was between 30 and 35 degrees in the day so it should've dried quite well). Despite this, and not to my suprise, the phone will not turn on. Just wondering, if i were to remove 1 pin from a mobile pentium M processor and put it in a desktop motherboard, would it still work? Also, can a processor work with a missing pin?
