News Story Virgin Chases the iPad Market
[URL="http://www.virginmedia.com/"]Virgin Media[/URL] will be trying something new in October when it teams up with publishing company [URL="http://www.sevensquared.co.uk/"]Seven Squared[/URL] to launch its first magazine, [I]Maverick[/I]. However, it's moving ahead of its print competitors already, by opting to go electronic rather than create a dead tree version. The first version will be iPad-only, with iPhone and Android versions to follow. Previously Virgin has outsourced any consumer magazine publications, including Electric!, a promotional publication for Virgin. [I]Maverick[/I] will cover "entrepreneurial endeavors, and highlight new creative business, travel and technology ideas, targeting an upscale international audience." News Story Certification Survey for 2006 is in.
It's here! No, not winter, the 2006 Certification Magazine results are in. Last year I wrote a [URL="http://www.daniweb.com/blogs/entry461.html"]similar article[/URL] regarding these results, and the top spots were all 'System Administration' certifications. This year it is quite a bit different, the sought after CCIE has actually fallen from the top 5, to number 6 on the list of 'Top Certifications'.
