I have a plug-in for a payment gateway for a WordPress installation with a WooCommerce shopping plug-in. The payment gateway plug-in fails at the checkout. The error message may be a distraction at this point as I only want some more general advice. The error is suggesting some problem with the CGI configuration. The support people for the plug-in have suggested the following: 1) CGI request and response must be uploaded in binary mode 2) CGI request and response must be executable (755) 3) CGI request and response must be in the right version (32/64bits, static/glib, prefer 64bits static) 4) …

Within days of the New York Times website suffering an outage which was widely reported as being down to another cyber attack, although the NYT itself insists it was actually an internal issue following system maintenance, media sites belonging to CNN, Time and the Washington Post have been attacked by the Syrian Electronic Army (SRA) in support of President Bashar al-Assad. All three sites concerned apparently used a single link recommendation service called Outbrain, and it seems that a social engineering attack there led to the successful breach. ![0612f5b78049dbb2f29c20a86e26b88f](/attachments/small/0/0612f5b78049dbb2f29c20a86e26b88f.jpg "align-right") Outbrain [announced yesterday](http://www.outbrain.com/blog/2013/08/update-outbrain-security-breach.html) that "we have fully secured the network …

I am trying to extract all the images in a PDF and then convert them into DIB format using an Acrobat plugin. First part is easy. I extract all the contents in the PDF, then iterate through them and whenever I find a PDEImage, I put them in an array. But I am clueless about how to go about the second part. Looks like all the AVConversion methods allow you to convert a whole page of a PDF, not just images, into other formats. Is there any way I can accomplish this task? Thanks in advance!

I've looked extensively for an answer to this but have gotten nowhere. Here’s what I’m trying to do: I’m having people submit a form on my Wordpress site telling me their pledges for a volunteer campaign. When they submit their volunteer project I want to have a counter track the number of volunteers based on how many form submissions there are. I don't want that number submitted with the form, I’d like to have a counter at the top of my site that says, “_#_ Volunteers!”. I'm using the Contact Form 7 plugin as well as the Contact Form 7 …

Hi, I’m a co-op student from the University of Waterloo and as our on-boarding challenge, my co Co-Op Max and I were told to create a web app that could make $20 in four weeks (with the provision of no family / friend handouts, etc.). Over the past two weeks we’ve come up with a system that applies game dynamics to visitor retention, and would really love some feedback (if you have a few minutes...). We came by DaniWeb because we figured there would be people who really knew what those building websites wanted. Right now we’re trying to figure …

Hello there everyone, I have been thinking about developing for iPhone and iPad but I don't own a Mac, so I downloaded an installed JEdit on windows 7 to develop in Objective C. I downloaded a few sample codes and I tried to run them but I don't know how to compile in JEdit and there is no obvious option. I googled my problem and I read somewhere about the compiler being in a plug-in. Can someone please help me? Thank you :-)

Wouldn't it be nice if you could track Gmail messages about specific features and bugs from within your defect tracking system? You can if you're using the open-source SugarCRM, thanks to a team of Italian developers that today launched [url=http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/dolcegmail/]DolceGmail[/url]. The new plug-in for Firefox links Google's browser-based e-mail system with the versatile SugarCRM, allowing users to add contacts, e-mail messages and attachments from Gmail directly to their SugarCRM system. "SugarCRM is a business application framework with a CRM app on top," said Clint Oram, vice president and co-founder of SugarCRM in a phone interview yesterday. "We have tools for …

I've been trying to use the Eclipse IDE for php codes. I thought all I had to was to install some plug-in for it and that'll do. But it seems every time I need support for some new language I need to download a full >60MB Package for it. Is there any easier way to do this?

I don't think I can use ClickOnce (or can I?) because it's a plug-in...

Suppose I open up Outlook 2007. On the bottom left, there are four folder buttons: Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks. I will have a C# plug-in running and wondering if there is anyway to detect when the "Tasks" button is clicked. Thank you very much in advance!

With the release last week of [Groovy 1.7](http://groovy.codehaus.org/), developers using the object-oriented scripting language for Java gained access to anonymous inner classes and nested classes, annotations, SQL and other features that could simplify development when mixing Groovy code with Java. Groovy's [Eclipse community](http://groovy.codehaus.org/Eclipse+Plugin) yesterday released Groovy-Eclipse 2.0.0, a nearly rewritten plug-in that it says delivers an Eclipse experience the same as when using Java. "The driving themes for version 2.0.0 have always been to optimize around the common developer actions of editing, building, running and testing code," wrote Groovy language developer Andrew Eisenberg in a [post](http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GROOVY/Groovy-Eclipse+2.0.0+New+and+Noteworthy) describing the release.
