Pah! 43 with 9 fingers. I slit my left index finger open with a razor blade this morning. That's my excuse. Don't think I'd be much better anyway. Like the test though.

Yes, it goes a bit faster if I know what I want to type. Also if I use Swype it goes quite a bit faster.
I heard blackberries are faster for typing than software keyboards, but I don't have one.

the microsoft speach api, it is surprising, it does exactly what was promised, but the configuration time is long, there was six months where keyboard editing almost everything the v r wrote,until it learned my accent and pronunciation
That's an interesting test, but somewhat unrealistic since the words are random. I found myself slowing down significantly (74 WPM) because I trip up when copying poorly constructed grammar.

Honestly, before I got this 63 WPM, I was getting 50s, but I tryed about two times till got the 63 and 66! ;)
