I hope you are not a native English speaker :)

1. 0, I don't drink alcohol any more.

2. I have no clue what that question means.

3. Or this one either. "keep it up?" in USA usually refers to a man's penis.

4. Don't know about this one either.

what's with all the booze related posts lately?

1. I drink an average of four or five pints of beer (real ale such as spitfire or batemans) per week

2. Stupid question, only applies to those who depend upon booze surely?

3. I use Cialis, lasts longer than Viagra

4. Never water down your beer

Good :) I don't know a second language, but if I tried to learn I would be horrible at it. I am never critical of people whose native tongue is something other than English.

You don't know what you're missing ;) You don't have to get lousy sloppy drunk in order to enjoy one or two good alcoholic drinks. But caution: computer programming and drinking don't mix.

False. My code while under the influence is the stuff of legends. The only drawback is that it rots quickly, like in a couple of hours or so. ;)

Suddenly, doubles and loops start making more sense? ;)

tried it years ago. Couldn't stand the taste of the stuff (and I mean anything alcoholic I tried, from beer to wine to fancy stuff, never tried hard booze).

I hate whiskey and bourbons, and margarita -- yuuk. Vodka, gin and Irish Mist are my favorites. A glass of beer with a shot of lime (picked that up in UK), or a glass of champagne with a shot of brandy are pretty good too.

Sad to say I don't drink alcohol or any alcoholic drinks; and would like to advise not to attempt to drink ever.

If you advise others not to drink, then why are you 'sad to say' you don't drink yourself?

It Should be "Happy to say.."
:)

I agree that a recovering alcoholic can not consume any alcoholic beverages. But for others, an occasional drink of alcoholic beverage is not a problem. The problem is excessive drinking. No one will become an alcoholic by drinking only one drink a day (such as one beer, one glass of wine, or one shot of hard liquor). Even Jesus consumed a little wine occasionally.

Vodka, gin and Irish Mist are my favorites.

I hate that stuff. I tried vodka once and it was horrible. People drink it to only get drunk. I like to drink Russian or German beer (so good with dry Russian fish!) and I love the wine my grandmother makes. I only drink once or twice a month and most of the time only on special occasions and events.

People drink it to only get drunk.

No. A real no. I mean, NO!

There are certain foods which is a crime to consume without vodka. Most Russian appetizers are specifically optimized for it. Make for example a bite-size piece of a Russian dark rye bread topped with spicy herring and green onions.
Try it per se - nothing special. Repeat the experiment, but take an ounce of almost frozen vodka right before. See the difference.
And don't let me even start on soups.

Of course vodka must be right one. Don't even think of drinking Gordon's or Monopolova. Classical Russian brands are pretty good. Gray Goose is good but overpriced. Best one I found so far is Tito's; surprisingly it's made in US. Ketel One comes in second.

1. Never had one and never will

2. Doesn't really matter where i go. I am immortal;)

3. What?:?:

4.Water?:D

About 6 beers (500ml/ea) per month. I am not against alcohol at all :)

Crack a carton of Super-dry. Usually one carton for a weekend. 24 beers.
