Had an idea. How about an automatic page refresh when a post is submitted? This would allow a poster to see posts that were submitted at close to the same time, and maybe re-word his or her response.

there is an edit post button, why not use that? It stops working after 30 minutes making the post permenant.

You could always spam F5 after you posted something.

isn't that enough ?
and if your talking about changing your post after another person replies then just post another one below, with that anyone who's in that thread can see your replies..
coz if not there's a possibility that the editted post will not be read again

I was thinking that it would reduce the number of posts with identical information, if those answering could see the more up to date posts of others. The way it is now you have to refresh manually, which doesn't get done by alot of posters.

Someday they will have to take responsability for their responses. Being a member of Daniweb means that you need to think 2 steps ahead before posting anything (that includes both questioning and answering), unlike those who post every home/lab assignment that they have here, without even trying to read it till the end first.

The entire page doesn't refresh when submitting a post to decrease bandwidth resources. You can always hit F5 or click the refresh button to manually refresh, but a lot of resources are saved by not having it do it automatically. If you just have something quick to say, it's much faster as well.
