Hi Y'all, (requisite greeting in the South!)
I'm newly retired from practice of Internal Medicine. I like computers. I like to think I know a little bit but then there's lots more to learn. Sooner or later I figure out the problems but I usually get a hint from someone else's dilemma.
Wife's a real novice. I fix her problems - PC's that is....
Got a 2 PC network, a wireless receiver to listen to streaming internet radio on my Bose system. Sherwood receiver to extend the speakers to bedroom and spa room.
Also like tennis, gardening (there IS a limit).
2 lovely g'daughters living about 75 miles away.
Enjoy this type of comraderie and knowledge sharing.
Hope to contribute whenever I can and esp if someone helps me fix my current problem. (See thread re: BSOD on boot up)
Ray

Welcome!

Yeah, the best way to learn computers is just to use them, and experiment.
