I am a contract programmer/analyst living in Florida, and working
at a large site with a complex blend of mainframe, Unix servers and
PCs running Windows. I support Legacy mainframe systems, and
Oracle Financials on the mid tier.
I program IBM Assembler, COBOL, FORTRAN, PL/I, Unix scripts,
PL/SQL, BASIC, PASCAL and a touch of 8086 Assembler.
I have been programming for 37 years, starting on an IBM 1130
using FORTRAN.
I hope to fill in a few of the blanks in my computer knowledge here
on this forum.
