Hi all,
I am glad I found Daniweb to start and share experience.
I am not sure yet as to what are the main areas of concern of the site, but since I am prompted to introduce myself, here it is:
I am 41, married with two kids and though I have studied electrical engineering in France and worked for years in Belgium, I am now the boss of my own small company in Costa Rica, working on contract with medical equipment manufacturers in the US.
I am mostly using XP machines due to the tools I use for electronics and software development but my server is a proud and relentless Ubuntu machine which I use for everything from file, print and LAMP server to subversion repository.
My expertise ranges from mechanics to high-level software including FPGAs and assembly; so with some luck I will be able to contribute answers to help my fellow Daniwebbers.
