Hi all,

Introducing myself -- I have a background in Mac database programming, which migrated slowly (ughh) to Windows Access and then SQL stuff. So I can make a living at that sort of thing, but am now tinkering around with RedHat Linux 7.3 on an old IBM laptop. I sort of like the idea of running a very extensive, high-end OS on an old piece of hardware, even if the RedHat is several versions old itself.
