Hey, whats up everyone? I am totally out of my field when it comes to this area of expertise. Obviously this is what brought me here. I come in search of knowledge on how to start my own forums (don't worry, it is in no way competition to this forum). I am pretty lost as far as what
is involved in starting and running a webpage, much less a forum.

Perhaps one of you can tell me what is involved (basics) and how hard it would be to setup. I am not necessarily looking to start this all on my own. Just want to know what is involved.

Specific questions about tech and other stuff should be asked in the appropriate forums, as this is only for introductions. However, since I'm nice I'll point you to a useful piece of free forum software: phpBB. :)
