The thing is, my hostee, The Cheer Leader Tea (located at http://tcl.kyleofalberta.ca/ ) is not accessible anymore. Not at it's old subdomain nor at it's new subdomain. Only at it's folder (at www.kyleofalberta.ca/tcl/ ). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

the reason your subdomains stopped working is the last host-canonicalization block. You negated the host twice and joined the conditions with OR, which makes the rule match almost every request, including your subdomains, so everything gets redirected. In mod_rewrite, multiple RewriteCond lines must all match unless you explicitly use the OR flag, so a pair of negated conditions with OR is effectively always true. Replace that logic with a single, anchored host test, and put your host redirects before the hotlinking and user-agent rules so the 301 happens first. Drop this at the very top of the site’s root .htaccess (one RewriteEngine On is enough):

Quick checks:

Test with curl -I http://tcl.kyletech.us/path and curl -I http://kyleofalberta.ca/ to verify a single 301 hop to the correct target.
Keep RewriteRule patterns in .htaccess relative (no leading slash), and ensure these host rules sit above the hotlink/UA blocks. Per-directory behavior.
As hinted, also confirm DNS: the tcl.* subdomains must resolve to this server for .htaccess to run at all. DNS setup is separate from Apache and required for the redirect to fire. DNS note.

If you do want to harden hotlinking later, Apache’s referer-based examples can help, but get the host redirects working first. Referer-based deflector.
