hey guys, well first off im gonna start with i play counter-strike: source and ive had some problems with my usb modem or atleast i think its the usb modem,
1.)Ever since i got my 3G USB modem i have had unusually high pings of 150ms give or take afew, my ping would usualy be around 40-60 with my adsl modem so i am guessing ever since i switched that it is the USB modem
2.) When i try join a server the server info screen comes up and stays there for about 30 seconds then connects to the server. in these 30 seconds i have noticed that the ping would goto 150 - 880 - 2000
or something like that, but the latency would reach 2000ms
the usb modem model is a HUAWEI E220 & the download/upload/ping from speedtest.net is:
download 932 Kb/s
upload 296 Kb/s
Ping 158 ms
distance to server <50 miles
