None. It will never happen.

I hope not!!

Hours #3 and 4 also discuss this........

Sooner or later it has to happen! There is just too much abuse.

It doesn't matter how much "abuse" there is, a regulated internet would be terrible.

Oh, it's already in place. The New World government and their alien puppeteers carefully control all of the information you receive....

Without Net Neutrality, the internet will be hobbled, handcuffed, and turned into an arm of status quo.

Shall we start our venture in acquiring internet pay-by-click stock? I would hate to be the one to write the tracking software for that kind of a mess!

Without some regulation the internet will selfdestruct just like the financial crisis showed. Criminal elements will simply take over.

Control of bandwidth and whether a server will allow your request to pass is completely up to the server and the server admin. Because these servers are ran by businesses and businesses have conflicts, this cannot be stopped. Any effort to do so would be a wasted effort unless you plan on completely remaking the internet.

The NSA is already keeping close tap on anything going on on the internet. They have to, it is their job and keeps us safe. Why get upset about something that is already happening in secrecy?

CARNIVORE has been vacuuming the internets since Homeland Security; some major providers have been inserting BitTorrent start and stop codes into the datastream to try and control bandwidth but that is being litigated in the DC Circuit which has a reputation as being a pro-industry anti-regulatory bunch of judicial activists who don't give a squat about actual case law. The RIAA and MPAA regard the internet as the worst mistake they ever let happen while the FBI want a built in backdoor to it.

Thanks for the info. Let's hope the FBI is only after the criminal elements.

With the number of 'convenient' leaks coming out of the FBI, ICE, and DoJ, it does not have to be illegal for it to hurt you. Remember that J. Edgar controlled much of the governmental oversight and even some legislation with the FBI files kept on high-profile people. I could go on but I would start ranting again.
