So, I have been pondering for quite a while on which product line to concentrate on selling to my clients as far as firewall, VPN, internet security and intrusion prevention...
Let me just say that I concentrate on small businesses, under 100 employees...
I have been pushing the Cisco ASA 5505, but I was wondering what other IT consultants have been offering their clients... SonicWall, ZYXEL or ??? What are your opinions, pro and cons? The big Con for me with the Cisco ASA 5505 is the configuration time... The Pro on the other hand is the name...
I am pretty set in stone though that I won't sell any Linksys by Cisco products... In fact I just met with my city's local Cisco Small Business representative this week and told him as much... He said that he understood, that all of the IT consultants are telling him the same thing... Even though that's exactly the product that Cisco is trying to push for their small business market... LOL... You'd think they'd open their ears and listen a bit...
