i know this question does not exactly fit in this forum, but i couldn't find an appropriate one to ask it. Google hasn't really been too helpful here, maybe you guys can help:

i am a web developer(LAMP), new to the field(2yrs), in los angeles, CA. i am also an entrepreneur at heart and looking to soon start my own online business. does anyone have any idea where i can find some info on conferences/seminars on entrepreneurship/ebusiness/startups. i am basically seeking knowledge/networking to get me prepared. i am also open to flying to the bay area/silicon valley once a month for such conferences/seminars.i also need advice/recommendations on blogs/websites where i can follow latest/promising internet trends. i appreciate all responses.

You might want to check out meetup.com for networking events. Also I believe their will be a unconference in your area in Feb check out http://cloudcamp.org also if your interested in checking out a cool bootcamp type event the go to this site http://startupweekend.org/cities/
