I am new to the IPOD and using it for 1 man band performing.

I master bass and percussion to Sony Mini Disc.
Then I interface the Mini Disc (stereo) thru an out board sound card.
I use MP3 Maker software that alows me to convert the wave files from a sound card to MP3. Most of the only let you rip from your cd drive...

I did not name these with the MP3 Maker software, but renamed them in a file where they are stored in XP. The names to the songs are correct.

When I move them into the IPOD interface...it finds the old tag and names all of the songs of my backing music to MP3_Maker001, 002, etc...

Does any one know how I can renamed these with the IPOD soft ware, do I need a plug in or is there a Much better IPOD after market software interface that I can get ?
