Hi Everyone.
I live in Meriden, Connecticut and have been desperately trying to find/secure an internship in the IT area for the past year. My school does not place their students, as many schools do, and although I have a 3.71 GPA, I have been unable to find ANYTHING!
I have a background in the medical insurance industry where I worked as a Help Desk Technician on ALL of the systems used (20+) in the claim processing and handling management course. I also worked as a systems trainer where I wrote training manuals. I trained all new hires and temporary employees and audited co-workers for retraining/refresher courses.
If anyone reading this is a hiring manager or in the HR IT placement field for internships or positions, PLEASE send me a note before OCTOBER 1ST 2006.
