Hello everyone,
I'm new here, but you all will be seeing me around.
I've been reading posts and heard a few recommend staying away from the IT profession due to office politics and other reasons, but none of which have discouraged me. I've been coding since I was 12 and generally spending my life in front of a computer since earlier than that.
I am going to be starting college for IT and Business in January at a local community college.
My question to you more experienced people is, what should I go for?
What degrees, if any?
What certifications?
What else?
If you honestly would redirect me from this industry, say so, but also recommend the best areas to educate myself in that involve IT/Business to produce the best future for myself.
