Installshield6.2 self-extracting executable problem

Hello. I need help to self-extracting executable. My problem is get inside to the executable(setup.exe) to see cabinet files. At the moment cab-files are invisible but really need to get them visible because I need to edit some files inside of these cabinets. To extract self-extracting executable for the hided temp (as in normally self extracting )is not a solution because its too slow. I cant use any else installers too. I will use i6comp.exe to edit cab-files.
