Maybe someone who knows can give me some advice, I am in the process of starting a web devlopment business, and need to produce some nifty looking web sites which platform or O/S is best for web development, I have heard that Applemacs are best for graphics. As I am a new business money is tight and I am on a budget.

For graphics / audio get a mac
For ASP/ASP.NET you cant get anything better than the microsoft tools so windows is the sensible choice
For PHP linux is the best IMHO.
it all depends on what you want to do. Linux is probably the best value whereas Macs are the most expensive.
Windows would probably be the best bet overall as they have a large amount of software for them and all web lanuages. ASP, PHP, ASP.NET run on it (linux doesnt do asp.net)
