Hello,
I have many question to software engineers. I am 36 years old. I have been in IT for about 6 years as desktop support. I have recently gone back to school and am confused about what I should major in. A friend of mine told me to change my career to medicine but i have always wanted to continue school and finish my degree in software engineering. At my age is it worth it to continue in Software engineering and will there be a descent job waiting for me when i do graduate?

Jump to Postmost software engineering jobs require 3+ years experience so you might want to consider that.
Jump to Postim in the UK and its 15k-20k starting with 30k-40k with experience
£1 = about $2
Jump to Postits more like $30k - $40k
if you go freelance though, you can get much more but theres no job security
