On Dec. 5, 2006, the ArizonaRepublic published an article which stated that computer giant Intel Corporation will no longer reimburse employees for business courses taken at schools that lack accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The University of Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ) and Strayer University (Arlington, VA) both lack this accreditation. According to the article, other large corporations are expected to follow Intel’s lead.
