Hi folks,

I’m rushing to get a small project from an idea to something people can actually try, and I’m finding it tricky to keep it both usable and findable online at the same time. It’s meant to test the idea without burning too much time or cash, but I don’t want it feeling awkward to use or buried on Google right from the start.

Has anyone here done a launch in that kind of hurry and found a decent way to balance those two things? I’m curious if sorting out the basics of search and user flow early on actually pays off later, or if it’s fine to just fix it once things are more stable.

In my experience, build the MVP focusing on your own strengths. Whatever you’re really good at, whether that’s UI/UX or marketing or something else entirely, you can do it quicker and more cheaply. If your app seems to get some traction, then you can spend more time/money hiring people to perfect the areas you skimped on.

Starting with something simple is good because it gives the end-user a clear idea of the value proposition of your offering without all of the fluff. Iterating is good, and constant tiny improvements over time are even better.
