I'm in the process of developing a new extension for my product and I'm wondering what developers use when creating custom typography solutions. sFIR, Cufon, PHP with GD rendering, using a third party type linking site, or perhaps ThemeForest's recipe ( http://blog.themeforest.net/tutorials/how-to-achieve-cross-browser-font-face-support/ )? If it was a snap to do would you leverage more 'fontography' in your designs? I'm thinking of making it a wizard but I'm not sure at this point. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

We've recently switched from Sifr To Cufon, which appears to function much better. The integration is easy, only the rendering of the javascript from a font file takes a little time.
