Good that and spotted the right areas — the problem usually isn’t Flash but how the image was cut and exported. If you extracted artwork on a white background, semi‑transparent edge pixels can carry white into the alpha. Flash/Animate stores bitmap pixels premultiplied by their alpha, so that leftover RGB looks like a white halo on non‑white backgrounds. (airsdk.dev)

If a GIF “worked” for , that’s because GIF gives only binary transparency (edges may look jagged). For smooth, fringe‑free edges use the alpha workflow above and reimport.

Also make sure you are exporting a .PNG with transparency on from Photoshop. Double check the compression is "Lossless (PNG/GIF)" of the file in the Flash library properties.
Thanks so much for ur help. i changed the image type to gif in adobe photoshop and got the background setting and saved it as no background.
Thanks All.
use png or giff
