I want to set up my own website, but I don't want to have to hard code all the information everytime i want to change it. What do I need to do to be able to update the contents of the website by loging on as an admin? (like updating a blog)

You can ask someone to intall wordpress for you (blog CMS)
then start managing it..
You can probebly find some guy on Fiverr to do that for 5$..
