Lately I’ve been paying more attention to UI/UX design in word puzzle games, especially games like Letter Boxed. One thing I find interesting is how a very minimal interface can still feel highly interactive and engaging when the user flow is smooth.

For example, this <promotional link removed> puzzle game keeps the screen clean and distraction-free, but the animations, typography, and puzzle interactions still make the experience feel modern. I think this is a great example of how good UX is not always about adding more features, but about reducing friction and making interactions feel natural.

I’ve noticed that many macOS apps follow a similar philosophy with spacing, typography, and intuitive navigation. Do you think modern UI trends are becoming “too minimal,” or is simplicity actually improving usability for most users?
