I'm thinking about getting a apple tv but for my pc. is there a way i can rip my DVD's and import them into Itunes/apple tv? i would love to hold all my movies on a drive on my pc and just use the apple tv to watch them.

no because that would be illegal in the USA due to the DMCA (it prevents bypassing copy protection like the CSS on DVDs)
