My daughter hit the laptop against the wall (no she was not angry, just a little rough while taking it out of its bag) and since the monitor is acting up. I get horizontal lines and sometimes they cause everything to lock until I press on the screen on the top left (the area where the inverter is I think). otherwise the laptop runs properly. Also we opened the laptop yesterday and nothing seems to be loose. But since then the screen's intensity sometimes fades. Using the same procedure fixes it too.
Any idea how I could fix this?
