I recently had some really bad problems with XP and am gonig to do a reinstall of the OS. I have also purchase a new 160G hard drive to accompany my 40G that is already in the PC.
I play a lot of battlefeild, war craft and other online games. I want to make sure that i have the most performance i can get out of my PC.
Will partitioning help this?
on the 40G drive: 10G for XP, Norton and 30G for Games
on the 160G drive: 20G for program files and 140G (music, movies, pictures)
I have 750M of RAM, 128MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Graphics Card , P4 2.6Ghz.
Will this help me increse performance? any thing that can help me using my HD configuration? Thoughts?
