When I turn on my e machine computer it comes on, and starts running. My monitor does not display anything if I turn it off and back on the monitor says it is in power save mode, please hit key on keyboard, or button on the mouse. Also I do not have the original board or mouse.

If you boot into Safe Mode, same issue?

Well you threw up a red flag but very little of why.
Make & exact model?
Has the unit suffered any physical damage such as having been dropped?
Was the AC adapter plugged in?
Any reason to believe that the AC adapter was hit by a power surge/spike?
Is the battery charged up?
