Okay, so earlier today, I seem to have contracted some kind of virus.
I was on MSN messenger and I recieved one of those stupid messages with those links with these kinds of virus attached to them but for some reason I didnt pay attention and I was careless and I got it anyways. So now Im stuck with a program that sends random messages to people in my contacts to I decided to download this program to kill spyware. Netcom3 Cleaner. It worked for a while then it came back. I kept doing that a few times but it kept coming back so finally I uninstalled msn messenger but I cant install it back anymore for some reason. I need some help to get rid of this.

First of all. I have AVG. My resident shield detected something a while ago which I dont know what it is.

"Infection";"Object";"Result";"Detection time";"Object Type";"Process"

They are both Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic9.AULD which I dont know what it means.

Also did this for a bit more help:

I think I may have found the problem.
I ran AVG scan.
Came up with these two things
whichone just happends to be on the hijackthis log:

Object Name:
C:\WINDOWS\wksvcsc.exe

Detection name:
Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic9.AULD

Object name:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\\Windows UDP Control Services

Detection Name:
Found registry key with reference to infected file C:\WINDOWS\wksvcsc.exe

Guys help me. What if it comes back? What should I do to get rid of it permanently?

Hi and welcome to the Daniweb forums :).

==========

Download
SDFix
and save it to your desktop.

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the
following :

  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the
    Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
  • In Safe Mode, right click the SDFix.zip folder and choose Extract
    All
    ,
  • Open the extracted folder and double click RunThis.bat to
    start the script.
  • Type Y to begin the script.
  • It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the
registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool
will be running and removing files.
  • When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and
display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load
    your desktop icons.
  • Finally open the SDFix folder on your desktop and copy and paste the
contents of the results file Report.txt back onto the forum with
    a new HijackThis log

I have the SAME problem, well I haven't checked with HijackThis, but, Should I do the same? because, yesterday I was in my MSN, then somebody sent me a link, about Myspace, I didn't pay attention, so I clicked, and started to send link to my contacts, I started AVG and it detected three trojans: Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic9.AULD
well.. thanks for attention if you can answer me, please

Hi IsabellaHR.

First of all- welcome to Daniweb :).

We ask that members not piggy-back questions on to a thread previously started by another member here in the Viruses, Spyware & other Nasties forum, (regardless of how similar your problem might seem). Not only does it divert the focus of the thread away from the original poster's problem, but it also makes it less likely that you yourself will get the individual attention that you need.

Please start your own thread and post your question there. When you do, please try to give us as much specific info as possible regarding the problem (exact error messages, system specs, etc.). Post an hijackthis log too.

For a full description of our posting guidelines and general rules of conduct, please see this page:

http://www.daniweb.com/forums/faq.php?faq=daniweb_policies

Thanks for understanding.

If the SDFix Didnt do anything but the HiJackThis log shows nothing out of the normal its because my AVG probably fixed it.

I think I may have found the problem.
I ran AVG scan.
Came up with these two things
whichone just happends to be on the hijackthis log:

Object Name:
C:\WINDOWS\wksvcsc.exe

Detection name:
Trojan horse BackDoor.Generic9.AULD

Object name:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\\Windows UDP Control Services

Detection Name:
Found registry key with reference to infected file C:\WINDOWS\wksvcsc.exe

I guess I was right because the same thing hasnt been happening lately except for the fact that earlier today I left to drivers ed and came back and there was an alert from the same virus but it didnt send any messages to anyone so I dont think its there anymore and if it is its in my virus vault.

Nothing out of the ordinary there. SDFix targets that particular file, so I guess you are right :).
