I have a AMD XP 2600 processor and 512 of ram and I hafta click IE or Mozilla Firefox, goto the bathroom, watch some TV, and then they open. All the while my CPU is runnin at like 2% or so and my PF usage is at like 1.4 gb. Took my comp 3 hours to burn a CD on a 52x burner, and most of that time was spent opening nero. Please help me! heres a hijackthis log after a reboot after enabling everything in msconfig. Also after a virus scan and a TrendMicro PC-cillin spyware scan and a SpyCatcher spyware scan.

Uninstall Windows servead from add/remove.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here and navigate to and delete the following if found:

C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd<----folder
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\tsa<----folder
C:\PROGRA~1\ezula<----folder

Reboot normally after doing the above, rescan with hijackthis, then post that log here please.

Download, install and keep updated, Spywareblaster from www.javacoolsoftware.com to help keep your system clean.

CTHELPER.EXE should probably be disabled; quote from sysinfo:

CTHELPER is a background task that is a plug-in manager for Creative drivers. The theory is that 3rd party manufacturers can use the CTHELPER plug-in interface to produce drivers, add-on features, and fixes that will integrate with a tighter fit with Creative’s sound drivers and utilities. Given its purpose CTHELPER would normally be classified as a "leave alone" background task. It also allows Creative speaker setup to be synchronized with Windows Control Panel speaker setting. Without it running that check box in Creative speaker setting is not functional (settings are not in sync). Unfortunately there are often problems with CTHELPER, most notably that it can use 100% of CPU time so it's best left disabled unless you need it.
