Hey guys, I have run HijackThis but i still seem to be having problems... not sure my Rundll32 file is working properly.. it seems to have disabled my access to the internet...

I do apologise, but it said the other thread had been solved or something, so i wasnt sure if anyone was going to read it... its the first time ive used a site like this to get help as im desperate without a working computer!! lol..

For example, some files, which are standard on one platform, may indicate a virus or trojan on another. So, be sure to include this information with any future posts.

Can you disable Windows Defender as it may interfere with the removal process. Please leave it disabled until your PC has been given the all clear.

  • Open Windows Defender
  • Click Tools
  • Click General Settings
  • Scroll down to Real Time Protection Options
  • Uncheck Turn on Real Time Protection (recommended)
  • After you uncheck this, click on the Save button
  • Close Windows Defender

Scan with HijackThis and then place a check next to all the following, if present:

Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

After rebooting, rescan with hijackthis and post back a new log. Please let me know how your pc is now.

Hey thanks for the advice.... i took the easy option out and backed up all my files and just wiped the bloody thing.... so a full reformat kinda sorted out the problem... thanks all the same ;)
